It occurs to me that if I'm to be focusing on learning and education as my Hydra (How to fight a Hydra), then I need to make sure I have the best tools of the trade (Obtain and care for the best tools of your trade).
Learning is about making meaningful connections (Learning is meaningful connections). My zettelkasten is a tool that structurally captures information in such a way that all the information is meaningfully connected (All notes strengthen the value of your Zettelkasten).
That makes my zettelkasten one of the best tools for this trade. It's important to care for it, and be able to access it in the best way possible. In practicality, this means that I need to not just be able to access it. Instead I need to be able to use it well.
A MacBook of some kind, currently. At least until there's another option that is as good as this one. Using a MacBook means I can use The Archive (Welcome to The Archive #citation), and it's portable.
Also, some way to sync all of my notes ot the cloud for access and backup. That's Google Drive and Backblaze.
Then making sure I care for it is maintaining the standards I have ( -Zettelkasten method of note taking) for note structures, connecting notes, reviewing previous notes, etc.
